  • Dale G. Wheeler, 32, 1269 Melrose St., was charged Jan. 3 with three counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Wheeler is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, unlawfully possessing less than 40 grams of marijuana, and using drug paraphernalia on Jan. 1.

  • Todd A. Gascon, 43, 246 Eagan Ave., Apt. 3, was sentenced Dec. 22 on one count harassment -- domestic violence. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee and domestic violence assessment penalty, 35 days in the county jail, credit for 35 days served, 12 months community custody. On Dec. 22 Gascon pleaded guilty to knowingly and without lawful authority for the purposes of his plea threatened to kill two people and by words and conduct placed both in reasonable fear the threat would be carried out, between Nov. 17 and 18.

  • Lico L. McKinnie, 34, 615 Sprague St., was sentenced Dec. 27 on one count each second-degree assault not;? domestic violence and harassment -- domestic violence. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $160.60 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 each biological fee and domestic violence assessment penalty, 22 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 68 days served, 18 months community custody. On Dec. 12 McKinnie pleaded guilty to intentionally assaulting a person causing substantial bodily harm to her and threatening to kill three minors Oct. 20.

  • On Dec. 22 the court dismissed without prejudice a charge of harassment -- domestic violence, against Melana A. Morgan of Walla Walla, due to insufficient evidence and in the interest of justice.

  • Jeremy Dorlan Daggett, 24, no address, was sentenced Dec. 29 on one count fourth-degree assault. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $100.40 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, 364 days in the county jail with 362 suspended, credit for two days served, 12 months probation. On Dec. 29 Daggett pleaded guilty to punching a person in the head on Nov. 27.
