Moore's 31 leads WWVA boys past Liberty

COLLEGE PLACE - Matt Moore scored 31 points, and Daniel Lomeland 16, as the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights beat Liberty Christian 67-49 Tuesday night.

"It was a close first half," WWVA coach Scott Wagner said. "Both teams founds ways to score and we only had a one-point lead going into halftime. In the second half we were able to get some good movement on offense and some nice steals and open the game up."

WWVA improved to 6-4 on the season (2-3 in league) and faces DeSales next Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Walla Walla.
