MILTON-FREEWATER - Forty three turnovers and only eight points spelled trouble for the Mac-Hi girls basketball team here Saturday night; they lost 65-8 to the Ontario Tigers in a Greater Oregon League match-up.

Caitlin Erm scored all but one of the Pioneers' points and grabbed five rebounds.

Mac-Hi was down only 6-2 after the first quarter and then things unraveled.

"We played really good defense in that first quarter and then we got into foul trouble in that second quarter," Mac-Hi coach Nicole Christian said. "We also started turning the ball over way too much. We don't really have a point guard right now that can handle the ball well. We are still looking for that - we can't win or stay in games if we're going to turn the ball over that much."

The Pioneers play Baker at home Saturday at 4 p.m.

Mac-Hi is 0-2 in the GOL this season.
