La Sierra gets past Walla Walla University men

COLLEGE PLACE - Walla Walla University's men got 18 points from Mark Moore and 13 from Bryce Doherty, but La Sierra had three players score in double digits to garner an 86-67 victory Sunday afternoon.

La Sierra held a 49-32 halftime edge and outscored the Wolves 37-35 in the second half.

La Sierra was led by Miles Robbins' 16 points, and Connor Madden put up 13 and Aaron Snyder 11 in the winning effort.

The Wolves' Andrew Bailey picked up eight of WWU's 28 rebounds in the game, as Kenneth Penn led La Sierra nabbed 10 of the Golden Eagles' 45 boards.

Walla Walla hosts West Coast Baptist at 7 p.m. tonight.
