  • Jacob A. Whitney, 17, 246 Eagan St., Apt. 1, was sentenced Dec. 23 on one count each third-degree theft and minor in possession and or consuming liquor. One other count was dismissed.

The sentence included 50 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 37 days served, 12 months community supervision, 40 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs, restitution of $41.98.

On Dec. 9 Whitney pleaded guilty to wrongfully obtaining property of another of a value not exceeding $750 with intent to deprive the owner of the property and possessed or consumed liquor on Oct. 2.

  • Pedro Rojas, 16, 908 Howard St., was sentenced Dec. 20 on one count disorderly conduct. The sentence included 20 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 14 days served, nine months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs.

On Dec. 16 Rojas pleaded guilty to using abusive language and intentionally creating a risk of assault on July 23.
