Les Schwab increases partnership with Walla Walla Sweets


WALLA WALLA - The Walla Walla Sweets log over 4,500 miles a year on the road traveling throughout the picturesque Pacific Northwest in their quest for a West Coast League championship. Starting in 2012, those trips will be powered by Les Schwab Tire Centers of Walla Walla.

Les Schwab Tire Centers has joined forces with the Walla Walla Sweets to become the exclusive tire retailer of the team, which plays in the West Coast League. Les Schwab has partnered with the Sweets since the club's inception in 2010, but is increasing its presence within the Sweets property in 2012 to become a Founding Partner. This new multi-year relationship includes a wide variety of brand integration elements throughout Borleske Stadium, as well as fan activation, and online at www.wallawallasweets.com, which is now powered by Les Schwab.

In addition to dominant brand placement at Borleske Stadium and the website, Les Schwab Tire Centers will present the Sweets Independence Day game on July 4 and will be the presenting partner of the popular "6 for $36 nights" promotion (where Sweets fans get six reserved tickets, six hot dogs, and six soft drinks for $36).

The Sweets open the 2012 season a 7:05 p.m. June 1 against the Corvallis Knights.
