Pioneer United Methodist to serve free soup lunch Monday

WALLA WALLA - Pioneer Kitchen at Pioneer United Methodist Church, 209 E. Birch St., serves a free soup lunch Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the downstairs dining room.

Enter through the lobby off the parking lot on East Birch Street.

First Presbyterian of WW to dramatize Sermon on the Mount

WALLA WALLA - First Presbyterian Church, 325 S. First Ave. will have a dramatic presentation of the Sermon on the Mount at 10:31 a.m. Jan. 29.

Experience Jesus' most famous sermon, presented by Dr. Paul McLain and dramatized by members of the congregation and community.

This powerful message is one that everyone can appreciate. Special activities for children during the drama will focus their attention on this life-changing teaching. Coffee and cookies are provided before and after the service.

SonBridge Community Center plans Beth Moore Bible study

COLLEGE PLACE - SonBridge Community Center, 1200 S.E. 12th St., holds a women's DVD Bible study "Living Beyond Yourself" by Christian author and speaker Beth Moore. The study classes are noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, concluding March 14. Participants can start any time. For information, call 509-529-3100.
