LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - Support for schools makes Walla Walla attractive

When my husband and I first researched Walla Walla for his new job, one of the good things we discovered was this community had strong support for its public schools.

Having three young sons of our own, this was important to us. Our sons completed their educations with college degrees and all are successfully employed.

Throughout their education in Walla Walla Public Schools they benefited from the skills they gained in music, P.E. and after-school sports in addition to a very solid academic education that has served them well in college and in life.

Join me on Feb. 14 in voting "yes" for our kids in the Walla Walla Public Schools. This replacement levy funds 20 percent of our district's general fund. It helps maintain student programs not funded by state and federal funds.
