Couple with baby sought in credit card fraud

WALLA WALLA -- Law enforcement officials are looking for a man and woman who allegedly have been using stolen credit cards to make purchases in the Walla Walla area.

According to a Walla Walla Sheriff's Office report, video surveillance from Walmart and Jack-in-the-Box show a man who appears to be Latino or Asian accompanied by a white woman and an infant child.

During one visit to Walmart the couple charged nearly $300 to a stolen card for items including men's socks, diapers, nursing bra and food items, the report said.

The couple used a different card to rent movies from a Redbox movie dispensary, and bought fuel from a local Chevron station on Second avenue.

The pair in the surveillance photos appear to be of medium height and build, and drive a 1990s-era Ford Taurus, gray or light blue in color. The case is under investigation by the Walla Walla Police Department.
