Marlene "Molly" A. Zimmerman, cherished and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on July 6, 2012, in Tacoma. She made it to her 80th birthday. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 9, from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday morning, July 10, from 9-10 a.m. at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater.
Marlene "Molly" Arletta Zimmerman was born on July 6, 1932, to Bethel and Edward LeMay in Milton-Freewater. She grew up in Milton-Freewater and Eau Claire, Wisc. She married Arlen Zimmerman on Aug. 23, 1958, in Milton-Freewater. They moved to Tacoma in 1967. She raised four children, 13 grandchildren and was enjoying the newest member of the family, her great-granddaughter. Molly also enjoyed gardening and bowling.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Arlen; her children, Michelle Zimmerman, Stacy (Rudy) Carroll, William Zimmerman and Kara Andrew all of Tacoma; her grandchildren, Tandra Zimmerman, Travis (Kristina) Zimmerman, Daysha Zimmerman, Tyler (Andrea) Zimmerman, Allea Zimmerman, Desiree Carroll, Ryan Zimmerman, McKayla Zimmerman, Bradley Carroll, Sydney Carroll, Kailey Andrew, Dakota Andrew, Parker Andrew; great-granddaughter, Clara Zimmerman; many honorary children and grandchildren; her sisters, Linda LeMay of Kennewick and Donna (John) Turbyne of Wisconsin; brother, Loyal ( Liz) LeMay of Kennewick; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Her parents and her sister, Darlene Mitchell, all preceded her in death.
