WALLA WALLA --Tickets are on sale now for the Friends of Children of Walla Walla Jazz & Wine Among Friends fundraiser Aug. 24-26.
Starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday, musical entertainment by local artists will be found at Sinclair Estate Vineyards, Walla Faces, Charles Smith Wines, Marcy's and Sapolil Cellars. A pass for the evening and all five venues is $25.
An evening of jazz starting at 6:30 Saturday at Waterbrook Winery will be offered by Portland band The Shanghai Woolies with Pink Martini trumpeter Gavin Bondy. A glass of wine, appetizers and dessert are included for $70 per person.
Sunday morning Whitehouse-Crawford restaurant will hold two seatings for a sit-down brunch of shrimp and grits with New Orleans-style music by The Uptown Lowdown Jazz Quartet for $40 person.
