Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

1618 Plaza Way. Medications and cash taken while in restaurant.


WW County Sheriff

Whitman Drive near Last Chance Road, 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Vehicle struck deer as it ran from wheat field. No injury to driver.

MF Police

Southwest First Avenue and De Haven, 12:05 p.m. Thursday. Two-vehicle noninjury crash.

Columbia County Sheriff

U.S. Highway 12 just east of Walla Walla County-Columbia County line, 1:50 p.m. Thursday. Noninjury traffic crash.


WW Police

Jarrod E. Gibbons, 23, 409 Wolf Fork Road, Dayton, today. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Luis E. Fuentes-Parada, 25, 1355 Misty Dr., Hermiston, Thursday. Charge: investigation of forgery.

Clarence D. Reynolds, 77, 1124 S. College Ave., College Place, Thursday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Fire, Ambulance runs

WW Fire Dept.

Woodland Avenue and Abadie Street, 9:15 a.m. Thursday. Two large plumes of smoke reported. Nothing found on arrival.

2600 block Isaacs Avenue, 1:57 p.m. Thursday. Grass fire caused by downed power line.

1900 block Pleasant Street, 7:03 p.m. Thursday. Grass fire next to travel trailer.


WW Police

800 block South Fourth Avenue. Windshield smashed, tires slashed, front fenders kicked in and paint keyed on vehicle parked in alley.

South Third Avenue and West Chestnut Street. Stop sign on northwest corner painted.

200 block West Chestnut Street. Graffiti spray painted at several locations in area.
