Frederick M. Snyder, 21, Hermiston, was sentenced July 2 on two counts third-degree assault. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included restitution of $977.93, $200 in court costs, $81 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 150 days in the county jail, credit for 30 days served, 12 months community custody. On April 13 Snyder pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers who were acting in their official capacity on Feb. 12.

Lester D. Smith, 49, 2836 Malibu Lane, was sentenced July 2 on one count use of drug paraphernalia. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $81 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab fee, 90 days in the county jail, 87 days suspended, credit for three days served. On June 18 Smith pleaded guilty to possessing drug paraphernalia used to ingest a controlled substance on March 26.

Thomas L. Dishion, 62, 517 Cayuse St., No. 301, was sentenced July 2 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $128.80 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $3,000 meth lab cleaning fine, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fees, 32 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for one day served, 32 months community custody. On June 18 Dishion pleaded guilty to unlawfully delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus route stop as designated by the school district on Dec. 9.

Kara K. Newman, 24, Coldwater, Mich., was sentenced July 7 on one count third-degree theft. The sentence included restitution of $195, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, 364 days in the county jail with 331 days suspended, credit for 32 days served. On July 5 Newman pleaded guilty to wrongfully obtaining property of another worth less than $750 intending to deceive the owners of the property, between May 29 and June 2.

On July 3 the court dismissed a charge of first-degree criminal impersonation against Krystal L. Killian of Imperial, Mo., for the reason in the interest of justice.

On July 5 the court dismissed without prejudice charges of harassment and resisting arrest against Vitaliy V. Romadin, 32, Walla Walla, for the reason witnesses are unavailable for trial.

Bobby R. Bucks, Jr., 29, 604 Hope St. was sentenced July 5 on one count escape from community custody. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $102.60 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, two months in the county jail, credit for 44 days served. On July 2 Bucks pleaded guilty to willfully discontinuing making himself available to the Department of Corrections for supervision by making his whereabouts unknown or by failing to make contact with the DOC as directed by his community corrections officer, between March 23 and April 3.

Katrina B. Glock, 24, Daytona Beach, Fla., was sentenced July 5 on one count third-degree theft. The sentence included restitution of $285, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 365 days in the county jail with 332 suspended, credit for 33 days served. On July 5 Glock pleaded guilty to, by color and aid of deception, wrongfully obtaining property of another valued at less than $750 with intent to deprive the true owner on or about June 2.
