Woman arrested after series of crashes Saturday

BURBANK -- Walla Walla County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Kennewick woman on investigation of possession of marijuana with intent to sell after the 21-year-old allegedly drove through multiple fences and over a trampoline Saturday.

Rebbecca Shumake reportedly knocked on Gregory Doss' door at 2 a.m. on Saturday after she hit a stand of trees in the East Sunset and Paradise drives area of Burbank. According to Sheriff's Office reports Shumake was heavily intoxicated, and deputies were unable to find her vehicle, a 1998 Lincoln Town Car, until the next morning.

According to a Sheriff's Office report, the Lincoln was discovered in a stand of trees in a pasture near Doss's home. Shumake had damaged fences belonging to Doss and Delbert Reed in 14 locations, including a cyclone fence only 10-12 feet away from Doss's house, the report says.

Shumake was taken to the Walla Walla County Jail for investigation of reckless driving, and her vehicle impounded. During an inventory of the vehicle's contents, a deputy discovered a Mason jar filled with individual bags of marijuana, a small scale and cash. According to a Sheriff's Office report, Shumake admitted to selling marijuana.
