PASCO -- Two Milton-Freewater residents were taken to Tri-cities medical centers after a vehicle rollover this morning on State Route 395 north of Pasco.
Kristina Shelton, 31, was driving a 1992 Isuzu pickup southbound when her vehicle drifted off the road, and she over-corrected, rolling the pickup, police said. Shelton was wearing her seat belt.
Passenger Donald Cowden, 32, was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected from the vehicle. Cowden was taken to Kadlec Medical Center, and Shelton was taken to Lourdes Medical Center.
According to a Washington State Patrol report, the cause was inattention, and Shelton could face negligent driving charges.
