- Ariana S. Gonzalez, 17, 426 S. Eighth Ave. was sentenced July 6 on one count truancy. The sentence included 30 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 18 days served, 12 months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On June 22 Gonzalez pleaded guilty to intentionally disobeying a lawful court order requiring a student to attend school between Oct. 19 and Nov. 8.
