— Mandi Miller will return to Pendleton to sing in concert at 7 p.m. today at the Pendleton Center for the Arts.

The show will feature an eclectic mix of music, from up-tempo pop to sultry jazz to deep-felt ballads.

Miller will be backed up by some of Pendleton's premier musicians, including Alan Feves and Margaret Mayer.

Miller is a Pendleton High School graduate who was able to foster her love of music through the choir and music programs there.

She has gone on to become a talented singer who has traveled extensively to perform concerts. Today she lives in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Miller will travel to Hollywood, Calif., later this month to compete in the World Championship of Performing Arts, representing her adopted country.

Miller won a nationwide contest and will join 23 other performing artists from New Zealand at the event.

Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling 541-278-9201 or at the Arts Center, 214 N. Main St.
