SELAH - Walla Walla got a full count, two-out RBI double from Daniel Lake in the fourth inning of the Bruins' game with Richland Saturday in American Legion baseball to score the winning run in a 4-2 victory over the Knights.
Lake went 3-for-3 with a sacrifice bunt in the game and pitcher Luke Reardon got the complete game victory.
Anthony Arellano knocked game-tying RBI single in the third.
Reardon wasn't overpowering, with only two strikeouts, but limited the Knights to just two runs.
"Anytime you limit a Richland team to two runs, you know you've thrown well," Walla Walla coach Jason Parsons said.
The Bruins will play against the Yakima Valley Peppers at 1 p.m today.
"Our team is really coming to the ball park to play with a lot of confidence," Parsons said. "I hope that continues."
Walla Walla played error-free baseball in the game, while the Knights committed two miscues.
Kelton Fulmer and Davide Pontarolo also contributed hits in the game for the Bruins.
