Colleen Fay Bebb, Athena, passed away July 25, 2012, at her home at the age of 89 years. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Milton-Freewater. Concluding services and interment will be in the Athena Cemetery.
Fay was born Aug. 18, 1922, in Pocatello, the daughter of Ray and Alta Wilson. She married Kenneth Biornstad in 1940 and she became a widow in 1949 with two daughters, Ila and Linda. She married Bill Bebb, Nov. 16, 1949. Fay had done bookkeeping, and her greatest joy was genealogy and family pictures which she started at age 14.
Survivors include two sons, Dean of Athena, Loren of Prairie City, Ore.; five daughters, Ila Alldredge of Minden, Nev., Linda Andrus of Idaho Falls, Vonnie House of Athena, Shirley Dreher of Quincy, Wash., and Barbara Kincaid of Spokane Valley, Wash.; a sister, Geneva Smith of Milwaukie, Ore.; 28 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; 21 second great-grandchildren; and one third great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
