Two Walla Walla Churches offer lunch two days a week
WALLA WALLA - Two area churches offer a soup lunch two days each week. The lunches are open to anyone at no charge, as follows: Mondays, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pioneer United Methodist Church, 209 E. Birch St., at the corner of Birch and Colville streets. Ingle Chapel Church plans ‘Operation Overboard' VBS
MILTON-FREEWATER - Ingle Chapel Church, 85372 Highway 339, will have a Vacation Bible School from 9-11 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The theme will be "Operation Overboard." The VBS is open to children ages 5-11.

New Joy Foursquare plans worship, potluck in park
WALLA WALLA - New Joy Foursquare Church, 3 S. Colville, will hold a special worship service called Church in the Park at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5 at the gazebo in Pioneer Park. There will be modern worship music and the Rev. Tim Johnson will preach a relevant message.
Child-care will be provided. A potluck luncheon will follow the worship service.
