Family Movie Nights will show the 1989 baseball classic, "Field of Dreams" Saturday at Borleske Stadium, 409 E. Rees Ave. Gates will open at 8 p.m. and the show will start when it is dark enough to see the screen, approximately 9 p.m.
With a PG rating, "Field of Dreams" is appropriate for most audiences.
An Iowa corn farmer played by Kevin Costner hears voices andinterprets them as a command to build a baseball diamond in his fields. He rounds up James Earl Jones along the way, builds the ball field, and the Chicago Black Sox come to play.
Admission is free. Lawn chairs and blankets can be brought for seating. Concessions will be available at the Sweets Concession stand and the beer and wine garden will be open before and during the movie.
Dogs are not allowed in the stadium.
The final summer Family Movie of the season will be "Hugo" on Aug. 25.
