Walla Walla — Following a tradition started in Paraguay in 1958, Park Plaza independent senior community residents will celebrate International Friendship Day Friday-Sunday.
The event continues as an opportunity to honor friends and their contributions in our lives.
To celebrate, Park Plaza, 1400 Dalles Military Road, will host three events, all at 3 p.m., open to the public.
A wine social will be Friday; an ice cream social will be on Saturday and an international high tea will be there Sunday.
