Robert "Bob" Wayne Bowen of Bayview, Idaho, born in Dayton, entered into rest Tuesday, July 24, 2012, with family by his side after a resilient battle with lymphoma. Bob was 57 years old and is survived by his wife, Deanna Bowen; son, Keenan Bowen; parents, Herbert and Cletys Bowen; and sister, Diana Weber (Charlie). His niece, Elizabeth Patterson (John); nephew, JC Weber (Jessica); and two great-nieces also survive him, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob graduated from Dayton High School in 1973. He attended Washington State University and Eastern Washington University, graduating from EWU in 1988. Bob was a loving man who will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to cross paths with him, including his co-workers at Idaho Independent Bank. Known for his clever sense of humor, Bob loved anything associated with the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening and boating. He was also an avid sports fan and was a devoted Washington State Cougars supporter.
