According to an excerpt from Mitt Romney's planned remarks to United States military veterans in Reno published July 24 in the Wall Street Journal - a not utterly unreliable newspaper - the Republican candidate for the presidency will describe the United States as "the greatest force for good the world has ever known."
Were Mr. Romney a Christian, he would surely have acknowledged Jesus Christ as the "greatest force for good," etc. Mr. Romney is not Christian, but a Mormon.
