POLICE - Arrests made in door-to-door soliciting scams



Walla County Sheriff's Deputies and City Police were inundated with numerous calls regarding the scammers who have been targeting the Walla Walla Valley the past several days. Six of the door-to-door solicitors were brought in to the police department for questioning late Saturday afternoon after more complaints came in to the 911 dispatch center.

After questioning the suspects and interviewing numerous victims and potential victims, all six were arrested. Katrina B. Glock, 24; Skyler E. P. Garber, 18; Kara K. Newman, 24; Mariah A. Axelton, 19; Krystal L. Killian, 21; and Daniel K. Lines, 39; were lodged at the Walla Walla County Jail for felony Criminal Impersonation 1st Degree or Complicity to Criminal Impersonation 1st Degree.

The suspects were part of a group of 27, mainly young females, who were participating in the door-to-door solicitations from Walla Walla to the Yakima Valley. Tri-Cities agencies have also had contact with these subjects who had all been staying in a Sunnyside, WA motel since working their way from California and Western Washington.

The company they work for is Majestic Sales LLC.

Law enforcement are encouraging residents to call if they have given funds or been contacted by this group. Detectives can be reached at 527-4434 for City residents or 524- 5400 for County residents.
