Rock music camp taking student applications

The Walla Walla Symphony-supported free annual Rock Camp for students age 12 to 18 will run July 30-Aug. 3.

The program is now open for registration and limited to the first 60 students.

Daily sessions run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Garrison Middle School, 906 Chase St. A final performance will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 3

Topics include song writing, selection and arranging; professionalism and stage presence; marketing and promoting a music production; and instrument coaching.
