Lots of fuss being made in Florida about burial of some vets in cardboard. Those doing the complaining want us to believe that cardboard dishonors the soldier.
My father survived World War II in the European Theater and died in 1995. He is buried in the city veterans section in a cardboard coffin.
His was a proper funeral honoring his service. He would have thought us foolish had we or the government gone into debt to bury him in a pricey box.
