Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

2100 block of Granite Drive, Friday, midnight-7 a.m. Purse and auto manual from vehicle.

800 block of North Seventh Avenue, Thursday, 6-10 p.m. Forced entry through back door. Three flat-screen TVs taken.

700 block of North 12th Avenue, Wednesday overnight, iPod and medication taken from vehicle.

WW County Sheriff

Schnitzer Steel work site at 600 block of Grain Terminal Drive. Seven semi-trailers that were scheduled to be scrapped were taken.



COLLISIONS

WW County Sheriff

State Route 124, quarter-mile west of A Street, Prescott, Wednesday 7 a.m. Single vehicle, non-injury. Driver reported falling asleep while driving truck and ended up in wheat field after dropping down five-foot embankment.



Arrests

WW Police

Abel Avila, 22, 821 S.W. Bade Ave., College Place. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.
