MILTON-FREEWATER -- The Milton-Freewater School Board will hold a public budget hearing Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the McLoughlin High School music room, 120 S. Main St.
The board will take public input, and then discuss the budget committee's recommendations on the 2012-13 school year budget.
The board will begin its regular monthly meeting immediately after the budget hearing.
The board is expected to approve the 2012-13 budget as well as other relevant action for the upcoming school year during the regular meeting.
Action items include an amendment to the academic calendar; a 10-cent increase in lunch prices; and seeking a $150,000 loan for technology upgrades.
At 6:15 p.m., before both meetings, the board will meet in executive session in the high school library to discuss litigation and student expulsions.
