WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla School Board will hold a public work session Tuesday to discuss the 2012-13 school year budget.
The session is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at the district's board room, 364 S. Park St., and is being held before the board's regular meeting at 4 p.m.
The board is considering adoption of high school math curriculum; an American military history course; and meal prices for the 2012-13 school year.
The board will also review a policy on credit for competency/proficiency; hear presentations from Commitment to Community, the College and Career Readiness Resource Center; and a high school end-of-year summary.
Near the end of the meeting, the board will enter into an executive session, which is closed to the public, to discuss the performance of a public employee and negotiations with a bargaining unit.
