WALLA WALLA -- Walla Walla Community College Children's Theatre will present an evening of fairytale giggles galore in "Fairytale Palooza," beginning at 7 p.m. June 27-30 in the China Pavilion, 500 Tausick Way.
More than 50 children will be featured in two one-act plays.
In "The Princess King" by Jeff Fluharty, Princess Genevieve wants to marry Henry, but he is just a common cook.
The King feels that no commoner can lead the kingdom and decides to hold a contest to find a suitable prince worthy to marry his daughter and rule the kingdom.
The giggles begin as the many princes gather in the land to win the contest and her hand.
In "The Big Bad Musical" by Alec Strum with music and lyrics by Bill Francouer, the audience as the jury decides the fate of the Big Bad Wolf in this howling courtroom comedy. Many storybook characters who want to get even slap the wolf with a class-action lawsuit. Fairy Godmother and Evil Stepmother are the lawyers and Judge Wise Old Man presides.
