Walla Walla School Board to discuss facilities needs

WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla School Board will hold a public work session Wednesday to discuss facilities needs. The session starts at 8:30 a.m. in the district's board room, 364 S. Park St.

The discussion will focus on options for Blue Ridge Elementary and the Head Start/ECEAP preschool program, Lincoln High School and Walla Walla High School. There will also be discussion of the next steps.

At 1:30 p.m., the board will meet in executive session at 1107 Pleasant St., at the home of board member Anne Golden, to review the performance of a public employee. The meeting, which is closed to the public, is expected to conclude by 5 p.m.

Any action or decision from the executive session will be made during a public meeting at a later date.
