WALLA WALLA - Walla Walla Valley BMX is celebrating that the sport is in the Olympics by offering free races to all ages at the track at Fort Walla Walla on Sunday.
The race day was originally scheduled last Saturday, but was rained out.
At 10 a.m. there will be instruction by experienced riders, including the use of the starting gate.
A bike safety check will also be offered, and participants must wear pants, long-sleeved shirts and a helmet. Loaner bikes will also be available.
Registration for races begins at 1 p.m., with racing beginning at 2 p.m.
