WALLA WALLA -- Local author Kathryn Southwick Hess will sign copies of her recently published book "Whitepaws Fabio Giorgio Don Gato Hess," from 3 to 6 p.m. on March 10 at Book & Game Company, 38 E. Main St.
The nonfiction children's book, which was written in rhymes, is about how a lost cat came to live with Southwick Hess, and how he ended up being given such an elaborate name.
The book is illustrated by the author's sister-in-law, Harvalee Wright Hess.
