COLLISIONS
WW County Sheriff
Harvey Shaw and Cochrane roads, 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Two vehicle, no injury. Lucero Castaneda, 18, Prescott, was following a convoy of five Walla Walla County Road Department vehicles southbound on Harvey Shaw Road. She was waved on to pass the group at about the same time the first vehicle was turning east onto Cochrane Road. Castaneda's vehicle stuck the truck driven by Dean Smith, 50, after she tried to stop and skidded about 50 feet. She was driving about 40 mph, Castaneda reported. Neither driver was cited.
