Walla Walla- Faye Leora Boyer, 89, passed away March 11, 2012, at Washington Odd Fellows, 534 Boyer Ave. Walla Walla, WA. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens, College Place, WA. Arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362.

Faye was born February 16, 1923, to George and Mertie Patterson, in El Centro, California. She attended schools in Pomeroy, Washington and grew up on a horse and wheat ranch in that area. She married John Uribe, on September 10. 1941. They were married for twenty-five years and divorced. October 10, 1970, Faye married George Boyer in Walla Walla. She was a nurse's aide and worked in long term care facilities including Washington Odd Fellows Sequim Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Faye is survived by one daughter, Amy E. Selby, of Sequim, Washington; two sons, Bill G. Uribe of Walla Walla, Dean R. Uribe, of Sequim, Washington; three grand-children, Timothy Uribe, Candie Isaak, Joseph Selby and two great-grandchildren,
Rebekah Selby, Sarah Selby. She was preceded in death by her husband George Boyer and one son Larry Uribe.
