Glenn Rodney Purcell of Weston passed away March 12, 2012, at the Kadlec Medical Center in Richland at the age of 68 years. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home in Milton-Freewater with burial in the Weston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weston Methodist Church, Humane Society or charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home. There will be a meal for family and friends at the Weston Community Hall following the graveside service.
Glenn was born July 16, 1943, in Seattle to Glenn Wesley and Rose Emma Beamer Purcell. He was a proud graduate of Weston High School Class of 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for and retired from Fleetwood Travel Trailers.
He is survived by his beloved mother; and loving wife, Ellen; six children; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; numerous cousins and beloved cat, Magoo.
