WALLA WALLA -- Details of a possible new downtown parking garage -- costs, number of stalls and how to move forward -- will be the focus of an informational meeting Thursday.
The public is invited to a two-hour gathering at the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center to review what's been done on the project so far and what's still ahead. The meeting runs 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Port of Walla Walla will host.
The economic development agency hired local office USKH Inc. to create a conceptual design of a parking garage for the city-owned lot on Alder Street behind Macy's.
The meeting will include a discussion on the next steps in the process.
