Walla Walla Catholic Schools is hosting its fourth annual benefit dinner from 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday on St. Patrick's Day in Blanchet Hall at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 425 W.Alder St.
In addition to an "incredible" Irish dinner featuring traditional green Irish beverages, Irish pasties, John Lesko's famous chili, coleslaw, cupcakes, corn dogs and Jell-O, there will be entertainment from 5-9 p.m., organizers said in a release.
On tap is Irish, Spanish and legacy American music, Irish dancers and the Assumption Middle School Choir under the direction of Diane Chamberlain.
Donation for the event is $9 for adults; $7 for seniors 65 and up; $5 for children ages 4-12; or $30 per family.

First-year Whitman College student Grayson Carlile is active in the Beyond Borders Club on campus. The club's aim is to promote awareness of and interest in various cultures and global issues.
The group plans to host an Inter-Nation Celebration on March 30 in the Reid Campus Center Ballroom to celebrate international diversity and culture. Beginning at 8 p.m., Whitman students will present dances, songs, stories and costumes from around the world.
Tickets may be purchased at the Intercultural Center on the Whitman campus, at Book & Game Co. or at the door.
Admission is $5 in advance or $7 dollars at the door. All proceeds go to the International Student Fund established by the club.
Donated items -- except for clothes -- may be made to First Congregational Church, 73 S. Palouse St., for its upcoming rummage sale, said organizer Sue Gillespie.
"There will be antiques, furniture, jewelry, household items, books, CDs , DVDs, sports equipment, crafts and miscellaneous," she said.
Proceeds from the three-day sale will go mostly to local mission work but some for national and international work.
The rummage sale will be from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. March 28 and 29 and 8 a.m. to noon March 30.
