WW Police

Alder Street and Second Avenue, Thursday 7:50 p.m. Two vehicle, non-injury, rear-end.

100 block of Rancho Villa, Thursday 8:14 p.m. Beverly J. Jefferis, 79, was outside her home with her dog when she was run over by Charles D. Brinson, 71, of Milton-Freewater. According to the police report, Brinson was looking for an address in the trailer court and, thinking he had passed it, back up and struck Jefferis. A neighbor saw Jefferis caught by her leg under the rear passenger-side tire and told Brinson to drive off Jefferis. Jefferis was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Brinson was cited.

Carnegie Art Center, 109 S. Palouse, Thursday 3:37 p.m. Vehicle west-bound on Poplar Street struck southeast corner of building. Driver and two children transported with injuries.

Cager James York. Charge: investigation of felony possession of controlled substance.

WW County Sheriff

Marco Antonio Vargas. Charge: investigation of assault and hit-and-run.

M-F Police

Kevin Ronald Stanford, 33, 216 SE 17th Ave. Charge: investigation of tampering with a witness.

Daniel Clay Becker, 21, 222 W. Broadway. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.
