August 3, 1916 - March 10, 2012

Kirby Edwin Wallace passed away March 10, 2012, at Park Manor
Rehabilitation Center in Walla Walla at the age of 95. He was born August 3,
1916, to James Edwin and Lois Opal Kirby Wallace in Richland, Oregon.

He attended Walla Walla College and then was drafted
into the Army in WW II in 1944, serving in Fort Lewis and
in Alaska, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. Kirby graduated
from Eastern Oregon College in LaGrande, Oregon and
taught school for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Darl Wallace of College Place,
Washington; and Kirby Wallace, Jr. of Oregon City, Oregon,
several grand-children and great-grand-children. He was
preceded in death by one brother, Dale Wallace and two
sisters, Marjorie Rauch and Claudia Brokos.

The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., April 1, 2012,
at Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 Dalles-Military
Road, Walla Walla, Washington. Pastor Steve Walikonis will
officiate. Inurnment will be private in Willamette National
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel
Outreach or Blue Mountain TV through Mountain View-
