Former Pomeroy resident Ben Cox and Andrea Young announce their engagement.
The groom-elect is the son of Bob and Resa Cox of Pomeroy and Lori Cox of Richland. He graduated in 2001 from Pomeroy High School and in 2005 with a bachelor's in agribusiness from Washington State University. He is a loan officer for Rabo Agrifinance in Richland.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Greg and Connie Young of Dusty, Wash. She graduated from Colfax High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor's in agricultural communications in 2004 and a master's in agriculture in 2009 from WSU. She is assistant director of recruitment and retention for the WSU College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences in Pullman.
A May 5, 2012, wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Endicott, Wash.
