The second in a series of The Moms' Network Parent Workshops is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Walla Walla YMCA.
The workshop will cover realistic parenting strategies with local mom Terri Neal.
"Terri is an amazing mom who will guide us through what has worked for her family and lead a discussion on how to implement what we know we should be doing but lose steam or get sidetracked once our child does not respond as the books tell us," said Beth Swanson, Moms' Network president.
The "Mom to Mom" event will have an open dialogue so moms can share what has worked in their home, what hasn't, and ask advice in a nonjudgmental environment.
Workshops are open to all families in the community, and Spanish translation services and free childcare will be provided. The workshop is free, with support from the network, Walla Walla Public Schools and the YMCA.
