Accomplished piano man Daryl Spadaccini promises loads of fun at the Shakespeare Walla Walla piano bar fundraiser. It will be 7:30 p.m. March 30-31 at Power House Theatre.
The audience can participate in sing-alongs, an open mike and games such as "Name that Tune," with prizes.
Music will range from the best of Broadway to Sinatra to classic rock to sing-along favorites and more.
A prolific composer and co-creator of countless cabarets and musical reviews, Spadaccini spends part of each year sailing aboard ocean-going Holland America cruises, entertaining thousands of passengers with his interactive piano bar.
He has also appeared nationally on PBS, NBC and CBS.
In Los Angeles, he's worked Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle and Alan Bergman.
He has accompanied many celebrities, including Cyd Charisse, Kathryn Grayson, Shelly Berman and Martha Raye and appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
His theater credits include music director for 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, three national tours of "Romberg Remembered," and work with Seattle Opera.
A highlight of his eight years with Seattle Shakespeare Company was music directing last spring's record-breaking production of "The Threepenny Opera," directed by Shakespeare Walla Walla Artistic Director Stephanie Shine.
"This is a rare opportunity to experience Daryl's talents in person," Shine said. "Daryl Spadaccini is going to land in Walla Walla and move right into your heart.
"This cherubic master of the ivories knows virtually every song ever written and can play it in any key. His love for singing is infectious. We're going to have so much fun!"
