COLLEGE PLACE -- Community Bank has officially opened its new College Place branch.
The full-service branch is at 1288 S.E. Commercial Drive in the multi-story building that opened last spring.
Tom Moran, Community Bank's chief executive, said six administrative departments throughout Walla Walla, Milton-Freewater and Pendleton have been consolidated into the new building over the last year.
"This facility will provide an additional access point to our growing customer base in Southeastern Washington, while at the same time providing a convenient location for our longstanding customers from Wallowa, Union, Baker, Morrow and Umatilla counties who travel frequently to Walla Walla for shopping and essential services," he said in a statement.
Customer development at the new location will be overseen by Ken Hui, Community Bank's vice president of the Walla Walla market. Assistant Vice President Sandi Rowe, who is branch manager in Milton-Freewater, will move to the College Place branch to manage operations there.
The downtown Walla Walla branch, 28 E. Alder St., will continue with no changes. Vice President Linda Hardy will manage business development there, while Rose Worth will continue to run the branch.
