Wa-Hi golfs to third in Wenatchee


WENATCHEE - Wa-Hi finished third behind Richland and Moses Lake in a boys Big Nine Conference pod golf match at Three Lakes.

The Bombers took top honors with a 294 team total for its top four scores. Moses lake shot 310, followed by Wa-Hi 321, Wenatchee 334, Eisenhower 346, Davis 366 and Chiawana 392.

Jeffrey Marcum of the Bombers shot a 2-under-par 70 to claim individual medalist honors, finishing one shot in front of teammate Lorenzo Cole, who carded a 1-under 71.

Wa-Hi's Dean Atkinson shot 73 and tied Brenden Cox of Moses Lake for third place. The Blue Devils' Nick Atwood was another shot back at 2-over-par 74 and was alone in fifth place in the field of 42.

Cameron Mountain shot 86 for Wa-Hi and finished 24th and Dakota Reiswig shot 88, the Blue Devils' fourth counting score, and was tied for 25th place. Konor Clark and Gunnar Leighty shot non-counting 90s and were in a three-way tie for 29th place.
