Carol and Don lived in many places: Spokane, Maine, Puerto Rico and others. In these various communities Carol always worked in the nursing profession she loved. During her years in Silverdale she was head nurse on the oncology ward at Harrison Medical Center. Carol enjoyed a wide variety of activities. She raised roses for Jackson/Perkins and she and Don enjoyed looking for antiques. She collected Beanine Babies and was very lucky at Bingo and at the casinos in general. Her stained glass works were prized gifts to many family members. She also loved to travel, with trips to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and many winters in Arizona.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Joseph of Silverdale; granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Marie Williams; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Jo Williams and Alexander Williams, all of Silverdale; two sisters, Joanne Sheely of Anacortes, and Nancy Hoffman of Dayton; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Carol will be remembered by her family and friends as a fun-loving and thoughtful person who loved her family. Please sign the online guest book at www.cookfamilyfuneralhome.com.
