Why on Earth Middle Waitsburg Road would be designated as an "official cycling road" is beyond me. In terms of safety, Middle Waitsburg Road is one of the most dangerous roads for bicycles, due to its many blind corners and hills.
When driving that road, all it takes is a split second of distraction on any one of the many corners and you have the potential to hit a bicyclist. There are so many other (safer) roads to ride on in the Walla Walla Valley, why pick one of the more dangerous ones?
I understand people have the right to ride bicycles on that road, but at what risk? I also understand people must drive safely as well but maybe signs should read: "Bicyclist Ride at Your Own Risk"
