BAKER - Mac-Hi's baseball team split a Greater Oregon League baseball doubleheader with the host Bulldogs here Friday.
The Pioneers - 4-2 in their last six games - won the opener, 6-5, and Baker took the nightcap, 10-4.
Mac-Hi is now 3-7 in league and 11-10 overall.
Dylan Shuler pitched a complete game in the opener for the Pioneers despite giving up 12 hits and aided his own cause with a pair of hits.
Patrick Sheets also had two hits for Mac-Hi in game one.
Troy Kessler and Jake Morris paced the Pioneers in game two with three hits apiece.
"The kids came to play," Mac-Hi coach Mike Garcia said. "Game one was a great see-saw battle."
Mac-Hi's next action comes next Saturday when it hosts Ontario
