WALLA WALLA -- Applicants are being sought to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days board of directors.
Board members serve three-year terms and meet once a month or as needed. Members serve in a volunteer capacity, performing duties as outlined in various board-related job descriptions.
Applications must be returned to the Walla Walla County commissioners' office by May 31, 2012. As a part of the selection process, applicants may be interviewed.
Application packets are available on the county Web site, www.co.walla-walla.wa.us, or at the commissioners' office, 314 West Main St., in Walla Walla.
Application packets may also be picked up at the fairgrounds' main office, Ninth and Orchard Streets in Walla Walla or by calling the fairgrounds at 527-3247.
